View this email in your browser Less demand and more supply! Happy Halloween! The trend continues this last month as the supply of homes is on the rise! Home sales in September 2018 have seen a -43.5% decrease from September of 2017. The Metro Vancouver housing market has definitely changed paced from the past few years. Detached homes are sitting at a buyers market while attached homes and condos are at a balanced market. A buyers market means that the supply has gone up putting a downward pressure on homes to keep the prices down. "The MLS® Home Price Index composite benchmark price for all residential properties in Metro Vancouver is currently $1,070,600. This represents a 2.2 per cent increase over September 2017 and a 3.1 per cent decrease over the last three months."
